Ingredients:
- 100g sliced beef (Swiss)
- 50g rice noodles
- 50g bean sprouts
- 1 bunch onion
- 1 shallot
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon fish sauce
- Juice of half a lemon
- 1 tablespoon crushed peanuts
- A few sprigs of fresh coriander
- 1 teaspoon grated galanga
- 1 teaspoon tamarind paste
- Red chili to taste
- 1 tablespoon peanut oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions :
Step 1 - Preparing the ingredients :
Cook rice noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a skillet, sauté sliced Swiss beef in peanut oil until golden brown. Set aside.
Step 2 - Vegetable stir-fry :
In the same pan, add the garlic, shallot, spring onion and bean sprouts. Sauté until tender.
Step 3 - Preparing the sauce :
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, fish sauce, lemon juice, tamarind paste, galanga and red chili to taste.
Step 4 - Combining flavours :
Add the pan-fried rice noodles and sautéed vegetables.
